Installation Instructions:
Replacing the Hood Lid Alarm Switch Pad Button in Cadenza, Sportage, Optima, Rio, Sorento, and Sedona models requires the following tools:
- Flat head screwdriver
Skill Level: Easy
Step 1: Locate the old alarm switch pad Locate the old alarm switch pad button on the underside of the hood of your vehicle.
Step 2: Remove the old alarm switch pad Using a flat head screwdriver, gently pry off the old alarm switch pad button from the hood. Be careful not to damage the surrounding area.
Step 3: Install the new alarm switch pad Align the new alarm switch pad button with the opening in the hood and push it firmly into place. You should hear a clicking sound when the button snaps into place.
Step 4: Test the new alarm switch pad Test the new alarm switch pad to make sure it is securely in place and that it functions properly.
