Installation Instructions:

1. Before starting, ensure that the engine is turned off, the key is removed from the ignition, and the car is parked on a level surface.

2. Locate the engine oil dipstick gauge on your 2.4 Camry, Corolla xB, or Matrix. It is typically located near the front of the engine, on the driver's side.

3. Using a pair of pliers or your fingers, gently pull the old dipstick out of its socket.

4. Inspect the old dipstick for any signs of damage or wear, and replace it if necessary.

5. Take the new genuine Toyota engine oil dipstick gauge and insert it into the same socket as the old one. Make sure it is pushed in all the way and aligned properly.

6. Pull the new dipstick out of the socket and wipe it clean with a rag or paper towel.

7. Reinsert the dipstick into the socket and push it in all the way.

8. Wait a few seconds and then pull the dipstick out again.

9. Check the oil level on the dipstick by looking at the markings on it. If the oil level is low, add the appropriate amount of oil. If the oil level is too high, drain some oil until it reaches the correct level.

10. Repeat this process as needed until the oil level is correct.

Tools Needed: Pliers, rag or paper towel.
