The 2011-2016 Kia Sportage Interior Front Driver Side Door Handle Chrome is an essential component for the functionality and appearance of your vehicle's interior. This door handle is responsible for allowing you to open and close the driver side front door from the inside.
Installation Instructions:
Skill level: Easy
Tools needed:
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
Installation Steps:
- Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the window switch panel from the door panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the window switch panel and set it aside.
- Remove the two Phillips screws securing the door handle to the door panel.
- Pull the door handle away from the door panel to release the retaining clips.
- Disconnect the door handle linkage and remove the old door handle.
- Install the new door handle by connecting the door handle linkage and snapping the retaining clips into place.
- Reinstall the two Phillips screws that secure the door handle to the door panel.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the window switch panel.
- Snap the window switch panel back into place.
Estimated time to complete: 15-20 minutes.
