This fusible link is designed to protect the electrical system of your vehicle by acting as a fuse for the battery circuit. Installation Instructions:
- Make sure the ignition is turned off and the keys are removed.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery terminal.
- Locate the battery fusible link on the positive battery cable.
- Use a pair of pliers to carefully remove the old fusible link from the cable.
- Install the new fusible link onto the cable in the same location as the old one.
- Use the pliers to crimp the connector securely onto the cable.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery terminal.
- Turn the ignition on and test to make sure all electrical components are functioning properly.
