Note the distance between the center of the 2 Holes is approximately 11 1/4" It's hard to get an exact measurement due to the curve of the bracket.

This is just the top clamp as shown in the photos. There is no other hardware included.

Installation Instructions:

Replacing the 1995-2004 Tacoma and 1996-2002 4Runner Battery Hold Down Clamp Bracket - Genuine New requires the following tools:

• Socket wrench
• Socket set
• Phillips head screwdriver

Skill Level: Intermediate

Step 1: Remove the old battery hold down clamp bracket Using a socket wrench and socket set, loosen the nut on the battery hold down clamp bracket until it is loose enough to be removed. Remove the bracket from the battery.

Step 2: Install the new battery hold down clamp bracket Insert the new battery hold down clamp bracket onto the battery and align it with the mounting holes. Secure it into place by tightening the nut using the socket wrench and socket set.

Step 3: Install the J-bolt Insert the J-bolt through the hole in the battery hold down clamp bracket and into the threaded hole on the battery tray. Tighten the bolt using the socket wrench and socket set.

Step 4: Install the wing nut Thread the wing nut onto the end of the J-bolt and tighten it by hand until it is snug.

Step 5: Tighten the J-bolt Using the socket wrench and socket set, tighten the J-bolt until it is securely in place.

Step 6: Install the cover (if applicable) If your Tacoma or 4Runner has a battery cover, reinstall it by aligning it with the mounting holes and securing it with the Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 7: Test the new battery hold down clamp bracket Test the new battery hold down clamp bracket to make sure it is securely in place and that the battery does not move or shift.
